The Nokia 770 (Maemo) demo at 3GSM-2006



The Nokia 770 is a strange but nice thing! I am a firm believer that software should not be the limits of usage but the form factor defines and limits how a device can and I will be used. The 770 is really a child of that philosophy. Around 2/3 of the code is open source and leverages community creation. (A interesting article about the creation of the Maemo is here). Too bad Nokia didn't make it possible to place (non-VOIP) calls from it...
