Eyetwig
This looks rather nice. With this technology, you could get rid of a rather large portion of the trackpad on your laptop. Just keep the buttons for left, middle and right click.
OR, you could use it for something silly, like testing glasses.

It's so exciting to be in this industry right now, with all these new haptic innovations going on. If you run a mobile phone company, prepare to hire haptic designers to team up with your visual designers. It's going to be a design area in its own right.

SLAP Widgets: Transparent Controllers Let You Feel Virtual Table Interfaces
